Had a wonderful Easter, filled with family time. The weather was beautiful out and it was great to just relax and spend time catching up, especially since some of our family lives farther away now.

My Easter basket from my Mom this year was in a Longaberger pottery mix and pour bowl. Isn’t it cute!? I really love the Longaberger pottery collection and, lucky for me, my aunt is a consultant so my Mom will often get me pieces to add to my collection. Look at all the yummy goodies it’s filled with too! My grandma and uncles also added to the Easter candy stash this year! Yum!!

It was 12 Easters ago that I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. It never ceases to amaze me the sacrifice that Jesus made by dying on the cross for our sins.  Becoming a Christian has been a wonderful thing in my life and I thank God for the change He has made in me. We had a really nice Easter and I hope you did as well. It was a bit of a low-key Easter compared to those of the past, but there is nothing wrong with that at all. It was actually rather welcomed. Levi got bunny marshmallows (his treat of choice) from Sam’s parents and a cute little basket (see above) from my parents. Spoiled much? Yes, but I’m not sure it’s by us.
Easter always holds a warm spot in my heart - it was 11 Easters ago this year that accepted Christ as my Savior!
